Toffee Chocolate Chip Cookies
Some people might think that making cookies is a complicated matter. But it is actually easy to do. It takes less than 20 to 25 minutes to make which already includes baking time. Here is a recipe for Toffee Chocolate Chip Cookies that you can try out.
Ingredients:
1 cup all purpose flour
1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
1/2 cup toffee bits
1/4 cup confectioners’ sugar
1 stick unsalted butter at room temperature
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon salt
Equipment:
Mixing bowl
Electric mixer
Baking sheet
Parchment paper
Instructions:
- Using an electric mixer set at medium speed, cream the butter, confectioners’ sugar and vanilla until mixture becomes smooth.
- Slowly add in flour and salt until the cookie dough forms. Fold in the chocolate chips and toffee bits into the dough.
- Roll the dough with your hands into 1-inch balls. Then place into a baking sheet lines with parchment paper. Place each balls one inch apart from each other. Press down lightly on each ball with a moistened palm.
- Place the baking sheet into an oven pre-heated to 350 degrees F. Bake for 12 to 14 minutes or until the cookies are firm and golden around the edges. Remove the baking sheet and let it cool in room temperature for 5 minutes. Transfer the cookies on a wire rack to cool completely.
- Recipe is good for around 2 dozen cookies.
