Pressed Cookie TipsMaking pressed cookies can both be fun and interesting. But making them can be quite challenging sometimes. One needs to have some practice in order to create the best pressed cookies. Here are some tips that can help you prepare the best pressed cookies.

Use only pressed cookie recipes.
Since making pressed cookies require the use of the cookie press, the cookie dough should be at least the right consistency to use for the cookie press. Any other cookie dough recipe won’t work with it.

Use an ungreased baking sheet.
It is important that a pressed cookie sticks to the surface in order to form correctly. An ungreased baking sheet will be the best option for this. Avoid using parchment paper.

Practice is needed.
When it comes to creating the best pressed cookies, experience is the best teacher. Practice using the cookie press in order to master. It is normal to create deformed cookies the first time you use it. But once you get the hang of it, you will be able to master creating pressed cookies like an expert.

Cool cookies before moving.
Do not attempt to move the cookies one by one while they are hot. They are still quite soft and may be damaged when handled. They need to be cooled first in order to come off the baking sheet.
