No Stick Rolled Butter Cookies Recipe

butter cookiesMaking rolled cookies may be easy for some. But it also has its own challenges. Making the cookie dough that does not stick when handled takes the right mix of ingredients as well as following the right process and preparation. Here is a recipe for a no stick rolled butter cookies that you can try out.

Ingredients:
3 cups flour
1 cup sugar
1 cup butter
2 eggs
1tsp pure vanilla
1tsp baking sod
2 tsp cream of tartar

Equipment:
Mixing bowl
Mixer
Baking sheet
Sieve

Instructions:

  1. Using a sieve, sift the mixture of flour, baking soda and cream of tartar.
  2. Soften butter and mix with the dry mixture until it resembles coarse bread crumbs.
  3. Add in the beaten eggs and sugar into the dry mixture. Blend the two until they become cookie dough with the right consistency. Refrigerate for around 15 minutes to make the cookie dough stiff.
  4. Roll out the cookie dough and then cut into the desired cookie shapes. Place in the baking sheet.
  5. In an oven pre-heated to 400 degrees F, bake the cookies for about 8 to 10 minutes.
  6. Remove the cookies and then let cool before serving.
  7. Serves 3 dozen cookies.
