Basic Cookie Making ToolsBaking can be quite a hobby for those who like to make delectable dishes all of the time. When it comes to actual cooking or baking, having the right tools available can help make the baking process a more convenient experience. Here are some of the basic tools needed by the cookie maker.

The Mixer is one of the essential weapons in baking. It conveniently mixes in the ingredients more efficiently using a selection of mixing speeds.

Measuring Cups and Spoons
This can be handy when trying to measure ingredients accurately. Measuring cups and spoons ensures that you always make use of the right amount of certain ingredients in order to make that perfect cookie dough.

Cookie Sheets
These are the surface where you will be lining up the cookies prior to placing in the oven. The cookie sheet should have a smooth surface and with easy grip edges. While jelly roll aluminum pans work well enough, you can also have a choice between stones, air bake and stainless steel cookie sheets.

Parchment Paper
This silicone based material comes with a smooth and waxy surface that allows you to have a smooth surface to place your cookies in before baking. It allows the cookies to slide off easily and prevent damage during handling.

Cooling Rack
This is usually a large mesh of stainless steel used as a place for freshly baked cookies to cool off considerably. It provides cookies with a means for air to circulate around it. You usually place a hot cookie batch into the cooling rack to cool off and settle before you can either eat it or decorate the cookies for other options of eating them.
